Here at Prestigious Stonemasonry we can offer a great wealth of knowledge and understanding to all aspects of stonemasonry and restoration. We pride ourselves on delivering sustainable and safe projects using a combination of restoration, conservation, tinting and new stone fixing to blend with the history and heritage of our craft. However, we are also able to undertake any complete new build stonework with quartz, marble and granite and above all else a passion for quality.

Our Services

We are able to offer a full range of stone restoration and fixing, using a range of tinting methods to blend our high quality work into the existing or bring the existing to life, either individually or as a package as needed

Restoration and Conservation

We can restore everything from small ornate pieces to large sections of all types of stone. We use a sustainable and traditional cement alternative of lime mixed with a variety of sands to blend to the existing stone. We carefully cut back to provide a solid base to build out from and then shape by hand to replicate the original defined pattern or flat surface.

We can also consolidate and conserve all types of walls, whether they have naturally degraded or been damaged. We aim to reuse as much of the original material as possible or source natural alternatives and rebuild using traditional methods.

Stone Fixing Solutions

Whether you require a portico, window surrounds or complete facade we can offer full supply and install of a range of stone to suit your needs.

We have a range of fixing options to suit the situation and the finish requirements.

We can also provide options to replace existing stones and then use our other services to blend them in.

Bespoke Quartz, Marble and Granite

There's more to Marble and Granite than just kitchen work surfaces, although this is our specialty. You can also use these stones for splash backs, single piece large tiles or regular stone sections for columns or other ornate work.

We can create any bespoke shape or piece of stone with openings as required for appliances, all fixed, installed and sealed as need.

Brick & Stone Tinting

When you have repairs or extensions built quite often you end up with it not quite matching due to the old next to the new. Sometimes just the batch of bricks or mortar doesn't quite match up.

There is a solution to blend together so everything matches. Using a special mix of chemicals and pigments for each specific job we can match any colour. This isn't a paint so it won't affect the finish. We also have solutions where a thicker deeper coat is required.

Stone Cleaning

Whilst pressure washing can remove a lot of dirt, it can also create a lot of damage.

We offer a range of cleaning solutions to suit all situations and types of stone. Removing years of dirt and grime without damaging the stone.

These cleaning options complement our other services when looking to rejuvenate and renovate any stone.

Paving, Slabs and Steps

From the simple, to the crazy, we can install all types of paving, slabs and stone steps. We have options to use a solid base or corner pod supports and if you are unsure which is best we can happily go over the relative benefits based on your situation.
